Hello! My name is Srikavi Premnath and I am a second year student at UMSL College of Optometry. I hold a bachelor of science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I have been reading articles from OptometryStudents.com since I was in high school. My interest in optometry kept building throughout the years since and this site continued to be one of the best resources for all information regarding optometry and student life. I am really excited to be a part of this team of writers now and to work with everyone to continue to encourage all generations of optometry students! In addition to my studies I enjoy reading, writing, photography, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being a student ambassador at UMSL. I am also interested in conducting research in the field of contact lenses and looking forward to starting this summer.
