State University of New York College of Optometry (SUNY)
Class of 2013Dr. Clinton D. Sugnet received his undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Geneseo in 2009, graduating cum laude and was an All American swimmer. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from SUNY College of Optometry in 2013, where he served as his class's Vice President. At SUNY College of Optometry, his internships included primary care optometry, pediatrics, vision therapy, ocular disease, and contact lenses. He has had internship rotations through the Low Vision Center at the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Rochester, as well as the Syracuse VA Hospital. Dr. Sugnet is a Rochester native and graduate of Penfield High School. He is an avid supporter of the City of Rochester. His interests outside of optometry include staying active and spending time with family and friends. He is an active alumnus of SUNY Geneseo, volunteers at the Strong National Museum of Play, is a fitness instructor at Compass Cycle Studio and M/Body Rochester, as well as enjoying being involved in other local community activities. Dr. Sugnet currently practices at Alexander Eye Associates in Rochester, New York.
