Class of 2016Dr. Christine Morra is a New York State licensed optometrist providing comprehensive eye care at MetroEye MD. Dr. Morra received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, outside of Rochester. Afterward, Dr. Morra completed four years of optometric training at the State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan, where she received her Doctorate of Optometry and graduated with honors. Dr. Morra completed externship training with a focus on primary care and ocular disease at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and NY Vision Group. She also completed internship training at SUNY Optometry in multiple specialties, including low vision, specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, and pediatrics. Throughout optometry school, Dr. Morra was very involved with the American Optometric Student Association, where she became a student leader and liaison between the American Optometric Student Association and SUNY College of Optometry. She is a current member of the American Optometric Association. In her free time, Dr. Morra enjoys traveling, cooking, attending sporting events, spending time with friends and family, and staying active. She currently resides in Manhattan, New York.
