Author name: Apoorva Jinka

Dr. Jinka graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in 2016 and completed her residency in ocular disease at the Veterans Administration. Former Chief of Optometric Clinical Photo Database on OptometryStudents.com As we all know, vision plays a critical role in the process of learning. When words are unclear, we all resort to photographs. I hope to integrate my two passions for photography and optometry by establishing an open-source library of clinical photos in which all students, clinicians, and educators can contribute to and collaborate with. All are encouraged to participate and submit photos, and this valuable reference tool will be available for everyone to make learning, teaching, and diagnosing easier and more efficient.
