Causes of IOP overestimation:
– Excessive tears
– Increased corneal thickness
– Tight collar
– Valsalva
– Lid retraction
– Lash contact
– Lid contact
– Asymmetrical semi-circles on either side of the line

Causes of IOP underestimation:
– Decreased corneal thickness
– Insufficient tears
– Lack of flurescein
– Poor illumination
– Corneal edema
– Multiple applanations
