Here is a quick tip to helping determine if “that retinal lesion” is really central serous retinopathy. The idea is to obtain orange glow in indirect illumination with an o-scope.

Take your o-scope and put on the slit-setting, then put it off to the side of the defect and you’ll see an orange glow. This is creating a retroillumination off the choroid, which is coming back as a darker orange (due to the choriocapillaris being darker red) through the past breaks in Bruch’s membrane) .
