Author name: Stefania Paniccia

Born and raised in New York City and of Italian descent, as a child I had a preference for chemistry sets and microscopes instead of dolls and dresses. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with an MS in Biochemistry and working as an Assistant Professor of Anatomy and Physiology at a NYC University, I found my niche in Optometry. Currently, I am a 4th year student with ambitions in politics and pursuing a career as a Pediatric/Vision Therapy specialist.
